So wanted to like this place. I came in with high hopes and it just didn’t do it for me. It didn’t match what I’m use to at all. The broth was good but not great. The pork was dry, dry, dry and lacked any flavor. I’m no Pho expert but I’ve had Pho so good here in El Paso this just doesn’t equal that.
This pho so is so-so. For some reason (same owners), this location is nowhere near as good as the pho so location on Montwood and Trawood. Although even that location has been suffering from some consistency issues lately. But if you must go to pho so, skip this location and go to the montwood one.
Pho So Good. Their soup is so good. I didn’t care for other selections I’ve eaten there, like the Vermicelli with grilled chicken because the chicken tasted too processed. It actually tasted like bologna. But the soup is wonderful. I used to get their Taro Root Boba drink, but the last 3 times I’ve been there they didn’t have any boba.
I went around April the service was terrible. Probably the worst flavorless pho i have ever had, certainly the worst tai tea very artificial. The girls gave me attitude when trying to order an item off the menu saying they dont carry it and that it is not on the menu. After i showed them the item on of them just laughed and the other got pissed and they didnt check on our party after that, no refills for our water and it took close to twenty minutes to get someone so we could pay. Nice!. Very nice modern ambiance…excellent service…great prices…spring rolls and pho were good…pho just needs a little less clove..
The place was very nice and the staff was friendly but the Pho was lacking. They put way too much cinnamon in it and that was all I could taste. Not my favorite pho I’ve had.
Yummy. Not one for soup but I love coming to this place. Tastes as good as it smells.
