My wife and I went there before the Seinfeld concert. I know the pie we ordered takes around 40 minutes but after an hour and 15 minutes we had to leave without eating. They weren’t even ready to bring up the pie after us being there for an hour and a half. It was not even crowded so I don’t understand what took so long. They tried to offer me another pizza, not the same, that was coming out before mine since the customers had left as well. What is wrong with this restaurant? I have loved their Chicago style pizza, but I’m not going to the downtown location anymore.
The server was friendly, but the pizza took about 30 minutes and none of the toppings were sliced small enough. I was dissatisfied with the pizza crust, being so thin and extra crunchy. It didn’t really taste like pizza. The bar/ eating area is large and decorated nicely. The location is great, being downtown. I didn’t have much difficulty finding parking and the price was cheap. After having waited so long, I just wish the regular pizza (not the pie) was much better.

The meatballs were delicious but I can’t say the same about the pizza. Meatballs were light and airy and tasteful. If I go back , it’ll be for a meatball sandwich or the meatball app. The pizza on the other hand has no resemblance to the great deep dish pizza they claim to make from Chicago. Pizza was super thin that I could hold up with one hand and pizza was cold. Pizza was also garnished with way too much generic parm cheese. I’d reconsider calling it a pizza pie. It’s more like thin crust. We were duped with false advertisent and wit were fairly disappointed. At least they make good meatballs and have an extensive beer selection.
Pasta,wings, and sandwiches were completely horrible do not try!!! Service however went rather well although I felt like the staff didn’t think the food was rather appealing other than their desserts
Way over priced for what you get and the taste was not pleasant. Just take a walk and get Kipps instead!
