I’m bringing Luby’s back (yeah). Admittedly, I was nervous about going to Luby’s. I generally fear lack of cleanliness and old people (especially when combined). But this Luby’s was extremely clean! And really, what’s so bad about old people? It’s MY destiny too I suppose.So I’m standing in line debating the Chicken Fried Steak vs. Chicken Fried Chicken, when straight from the kitchen comes out a fresh batch of Bacon and Cheese Steak Stick -which is an interesting name for a burger without buns. It. Was. Great. Mac and Cheese? Cheesy and joyful. Stuffing? No complaints. The desserts? They look like cartoon desserts, with radioactive red strawberry sauce. And they’re toxically tasty!I won’t be making a habit of going here, but next time it comes up as a campy suggestion, I won’t laugh. Score 1 point to growing old.
