I always enjoy my visits to this particular Applebees. The staff is always friendly. Sometimes they get short handed when it’s busy but for the most part they do quite well, both with time till you’re greeted and till your food arrives. The only occasion I ever had an issue with the food, they promptly and graciously replaced it (a simple miscommunication in the order). I will certainly continue to frequent this establishment.
Crazy slow. I ordered an onion soup and a grilled chicken Ceasar. Over half an hour later I asked for a manager. I think I got a waitress ( not manager ) who promised to see what was going on. She came back several minutes later with the salad and asked me what kind of soup I ordered. Another 15 minutes to get the soup. They took some off the check, but I would prefer they just get it right. Saw the same story with other people that arrived same time as I did. So many other places in Forney to eat. I think they rely on the bar business to keep this place alive.

Service Lacking. There was no one in the restaurant besides us. Waited on refills, waited on food, which was cold when it came. The waiter didn’t know the menu and subsequently told us something came with our order that didn’t. Just not up to par. The food was, besides cold, mediocre. This place needs some work.
