Went for late lunch or an early dinner one would say 🙂 we ordered shrimp pasta, salmon and shrimp salad. The pasta was pretty good and the quantity was also quite good. I couldn’t finish the side salad al by myself. The shrimp and salmon salad was good too. Would definitely go back again.
Awful food. As others have stated, this restaurant is clearly on the decline. I ordered the Hasta La Pasta with Shrimp. The shrimp were very, very fishy and the pasta was ridiculously over-sauced and I left most of my plate. My husband ordered the pork chop Campagnola, and the pork was very tough and tasteless. I would recommend that you stay away. It should have been a hint that the restaurant was 60 percent vacant at 7 pm. Our server, Noah, was terrific – we had great service, but order for this restaurant to survive, it needs to focus on the food. Believe me, Katy residents are noticing the poorly prepared food. You used to have to wait for a table, if you went during peak time – not anymore. I figure they will be closed by year-end, if they keep operating this way.
Pork Chop Verona here is absolutely great! They need to switch back to their little mini football-shaped bread rolls though.
Good… Not Great. I had the Hasta la Pasta Specialty: Jalapeno Fettuccine with a spicy cream sauce and shrimp. It was my first visit and was the recommendation of the waiter… it just wasn’t that special.The service was exceptional however.
Seems like they are on the decline. I’ve gone here since they opened. At first, it was awesome! Everything tasted fresh and homemade. I loved the pesto and bread they served while you were waiting. But, recently it seems like the food is going downhill. My husband and I ordered food to go, we got chicken parmesan, caesar salads and specifically asked for pesto and bread. Unfortunately my husband is trusting and didn’t check the bag before he left because they forgot our pesto. We have ordered to go with this happening to us twice, now my husband remembers to check first(they usually still forget and have to get it for him after). The Chicken parmesan tasted like it was a pre made frozen patty, same with the sauce. They also changed their bread from a delicious roll to some garlic bread that isn’t good.
Love this place. Wish they had their old bread and not garlic bread though.
Love this place! The bread and olive oil to start are delicious and the entrees are really tasty. Love the atmosphere and the wait staff! Worth a try!
