This place is so amazing!!! It’s never crowded but I am convinced it’s because it’s in a quiet location. My husband and I have been here 6+ times and never been disappointed. Food and service is great. Love this place!
Wanted to try Nicks. Called to order food to be picked up and the man with a very heavy accent was very RUDE. I had given him my name and kindly asked for his and he totally refused. He stated that I didn’t need to know his name to pick up food. I, of course hung up, never going there….unbelievable.
Stop Discrimination. Came to eat on 2/5/2015 with our service dog, which was clearly tagged and identified as such, and was not allowed to eat in the dining room. We were promptly escorted out of the main dining room by Nick himself. We were shown to a closed room off to the side that had nobody in it to eat by ourselves. This is against the law. I will never put a dollar in this jerk’s pocket again.
Have been there monthly for 6 years. Never complain. Until this time. I complained about my meal. I was never treated so rudely in a restaurant. The Owner yelled at me. Said he didn’t need my business. That’s fine. He won’t get it anymore.
The BEST Italian I have ever had. I ate at Nick’s Italian Restaurant in Richmond, Texas on Oct 7, 2014. I ordered a ‘special’ that was not on the menu called Chicken Francesca. It had mushrooms, capers, artichokes, roma tomatoes in a creamy wine sauce with 3 pieces of breaded baked chicken – OMG! To die for! It came with a house salad, their AWESOME garlic bread that is warm and has chunks of garlic on it and also a bowl of spaghetti with a marinara sauce and fresh parmesan. It was OUTSTANDING and very fresh! My daughter had ravioli and her husband had a seafood pasta dish – they LOVED their meals! The house wine was fabulous! The service was courteous and outstanding – they kept a good watch over our needs without bothering us. We were kept loaded up with that delicious garlic bread! It was a cozy atmosphere that made you feel welcomed. I HIGHLY recommend Nick’s and plan to go back again – every time I visit my daughter in Houston. Prices were very reasonable!
Poor Service. I was disappointed today when for lunch my order was taken incorrectly twice. The server felt compelled to charge me for something, so I paid $5 for two bites of salad that came with the lunch that I did not get to enjoy. I also paid 18% gratuity. I left with a poor taste in my mouth, as did the ten other people I had lunch with from my the local Fort Bend ISD.
Excellent food. Place is still opened.
