  Fantastic! I’ve been here several times and have never left disappointed. The last time I ate here I had the Osso Bucco and it was so tender that I didn’t need the knife they gave me. Also, ask for Francisco to be your server. His service put our experience over the top!

  Great Italian food isnt always easy to find. Plenty of restaurants serve what they call Italian food, but it doesnt compare to that which is prepared according to Italian tradition. One Italian Restaurant that makes food good enough to satisfy the pickiest Italian food lovers is Sapore Ristorante Italiano. I learned about Sapore just recently, thanks to an online promotional offer. I am glad I took the time to pay attention and seek out this restaurant, because it does have some great Italian cuisine. I ordered the Ravioli Al Formaggio O Carne, my wife went with the Pollo Al Parmigiana, and my kid ordered the chicken alfredo. I loved my ravioli, especially the exquisite taste of the tomato sauce. I also like that the beef wasnt dominant- the flavor contributions from the sauce, cheese, etc were equally important and kept things balanced. My kid said her chicken alfredo was the best she has ever tasted and my wife, although not as thrilled with her chicken parmigiana as the two of us were with our menu selections, still agreed that it was quite good overall.Sapore has a small interior, seating about 70, with some outdoor seating if you prefer. The inside tends to be quiet and a little dark, with candles on each table for a romantic vibe. For this reason, some would say that this restaurant isnt really made for kids, but I found it fine as long as your kids are into Italian food and wont cringe at a menu that doesnt offer burgers, hotdogs, and fries. In fact, Sapore does not even have a kids menu, but they will create kids- sized portions of the adult menu items, at lower prices. In a way, this is better than a kids menu because it broadens the choices. As you can see from the menu selections we ordered, the restaurant attempts to maintain authenticity not just with the way the food is prepared, but also with the names of the entrees. Most of the menu items are in Italian, so if your romance language pronunciation skills are a little rusty, you may have to point to the item in the menu when you order. Also, many will be interested to know that the menu items feature a wide assortment of meats, vegetarian options, and several seafood dishes. The presentation of each food items is very nice and the service is excellent. They took care of us from the start and I like that the owner even took time to walk around and chat with everyone.If I had to look for something to criticize at Sapore, I can think of exactly two things. One is the lack of any waiting area. If there are no available seats- and there may not be, due to the size-you will have to wait but there are only two chairs in the waiting and really no space for any more. This is why reservations are recommended. The other small issue I had was with the temperature. It was a little warm when I visited and I wondered if maybe there was an issue with the air conditioning. It wasnt blazing hot- just a little less comfortable than desired. I mentioned this to the staff and they did what they could to correct the problem. As time passed, it did feel better inside and I appreciate once again the attentiveness to customer needs. Great Italian cuisine takes time to track down but Sapore Ristorante Italiano is worth the search. The food is quite good, the service impressive, and the atmosphere is quaint.
