Read a review in Fort Worth Magazine and decided to give it a try. Simple place on the north side near the Stockyards, I usually judge a Mexican restaurant food by their enchiladas, I was not overly impressed, they used ground meat that was BLAND, and the red sauce they were topped with was the same way, no flavor. I poured the sauce that came with the chips over the enchiladas to get some kick and flavor in the meal. The sauce and chips were very good, service was also good. I doubt that I shall return, there are many more small Mexican restaurants in Ft. Worth that stand above El Patron.
