Must stop in!. This is one of the original Mexican Inn Cafes.. they offer like 10 different things on the menu versus a full menu from one of the bigger Mexican Inns. This one is a bit more authentic. I got three soft corn tacos and they were just okay. Beans and rice are awesome. Margaritas were a medium size, but I got two and was feeling pretty great. Everyone has to come here atleast once in their lifetime.
Disgusting 30 years ago an still is.. The thumbs up they have are truly a lie. Save your money go somewhere else.Cheese enchiladas – averageFlour tortillas – they took it out of bag. He he homemade bsBeef fajita – frozen in blood and tastes bad. It was like $11 for 4 strips.Chips – had so much oil on them I think they used a spoon or cup to get them.Service – waiter/he gave us our food then went on break. WTF! We had no refills.

One of my all time favorite Mexican restaurants. Mexican Inn Cafe boasts some of the best mexican dishes in all of Fort Worth. The complimentary chips and salsa are extremely addicting, and if you aren’t careful can fill you up before your entree even arrives. The menu is small and simple, but every meal I’ve had has been great (my personal favorite being the chicken-enchiladas in sour-cream sauce). If you are in the mood for unpretentious, authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place for you.
Fort Worth History!. I have been eating at Mexican Inn since I was a toddler. We mostly ate at the one on East Lancaster, but you knew anywhere you saw one in Fort Worth, it was going to be delicious! You’re not going to get chips, salsa, and corn tortillas like that anywhere else! Also, anything I’ve ordered from their menu is excellent. Usually the service is top-notch as well. In closing, if you don’t have time to dine in, pick up service is equally nice. It is a Fort Worth tradition I am glad to be sharing with my own children now.
