This place is terrible. I had yet to eat at a place that I immediately had to go home and take a shower. The food was ok at best. Service was good but that’s all this over priced basement rat hole had going for it.
Great service. Drew, our waiter, was fantastic. He even bought us champagne to celebrate our anniversary.
Watered down our drinks. Wow not coming back, the staff was good but not really into their job. The meal was okay but not worth the price. Our $10.00 drinks were so watered down I was shocked. The staff is lifeless, maybe because you feel like your in a crypt. If I spend almost 400.00 for a night out I accept my moneys worth and a little extra.
Oil scalded my face and arm. Horrible horrible horrible experience. I came with my boyfriend for a nice romantic dinner & I ended up getting scalded by popping hot oil on my face, neck, arm, and dress. A manager never came by to apologize. Our waiter threw us some burn spray & a free dessert card for next time. Pretty sure I don’t want to come back after my face was scalded. I called later to speak with the owner about our bad experience, he tried to tell me it was my fault for probably putting water in the pot. I’m not an idiot, I know how hot oil works and we were finished with our food and just talking, nowhere near the pot. The owner told me to make it up he would send me a free dinner for two, which I still haven’t seen. I am now left with a scar on my arm and about 10 oil pop marks on my body. I’m a server myself & have never been so appalled by a restaurant’s behavior. My manager thought I should sue, but I thought I would just let everyone know and hopefully prevent this from happening to anyone else.
The food was pretty good but way over priced and there wasn’t much of it. It was fun to try but I will never go back. I hate going to a restaurant and spending that much money and when you leave you are still hungry.
Highly pissed!. So very disappointed in our Valentine’s Romantic dinner for two. After I saw how much you charged my boyfriend ($240.00 including the 18% gratuity that was forced on us) I wanted to scream! The place was too warm and I was sweating, the cheap electric tea light candle on our table was a joke and the waiter was too cocky and did not deserve the 18% gratuity!!We could have had a much better experience at a 5 star steakhouse and it would not have been THAT expensive! We will NOT visit your establishment again and I will share our experience with all my friends : (
Easter Brunch. I had the treat this last Easter to be taken to brunch by my parents with another family. I had never had fondue at a restaurant before that (that being said I have homemade fondue several times and had eaten it at other people’s houses) and I was overall pleased. THe Goods: *the cheese fondue *helpful with my brother’s gluten-free diet (our server was obviously prepped with the knowledge of what it is and my brother’s options)*kid’s price (out of the group of nine, four were $15)The Bads:*greeting time by waiter (understandably they were understaffed on Easter but 15 minutes just to be ASKED for drinks is wrong)*serving time (we were in a group room and we were the first group to arrive and the last to leave due to our waiter’s lack of experience)The Okays:*Cost ($25 per person {kids = $14} for a four course meal in which you eat a salad/parfait, eat cheese fondue, COOK your own main course, then eat dessert fondue.)Overall pleased. Another great G-Free restaurant (when you call in advance).
