Chose this place for breakfast after seeing a huge wait for another local restaurant. Im sad that it was our second choice because it will definitely be our first from now on. Food was amazing! Biscuits and gravy was awesome. Server was amazing and so accommodating. Cinnamon rolls right out of the oven so we took some to go. You dont want to miss out on this hidden jewel.
Came to town planning on German food but came here instead, recalling a pleasant experience a few years back. We weren’t disappointed. The fish tacos had excellent texture and an enticing combination of flavours; the veggie-melt was not bad but, since they were out of artichoke hearts, we got avocado instead. That made for a less interesting contrast of flavours than, I think, it would have possessed had the kitchen been better stocked. Pleasant atmosphere, good service. Someone else picked up the check (a good run of luck I’ve had there lately) so no rating on value.THE CURMUDGEON’S RATINGS (explained, sort of, on the Curmudgeon-About-Town blog):FOOD: 3 1/2 chili peppersSERVICE: 3 chili peppersAMBIENCE: 3 chili peppersVALUE: not rated
Visited on holiday weekend and had a marvelous meal, great live music and excellent service. They weren’t usually open on Sunday but accommodated us professionally and graciously
