I remember when Hildas had the walkup window and picnic tables. Their chicken enchiladas are the best, so far. Chips and tortillas are outstanding! What Sets Hildas apart from other Mexican restaurants in the area is, their dishes are not smothered with cheese. Definitely a keeper!

It was ok, not authentic Mexican. On a brighter note place was nice and clean, service was great. Price ok, wouldn’t mind it if my food would have been at least warm.

All the food is fresh, handmade & tasty. Prices are reasonable, waitstaff is great. The chips and salsa fantastic!

Not sure who the folks are that have written bad reviews, but if were expecting Taco Bell then you eill be disappointed. Great food that is priced very moderately for Fritz-town.

Their tortas are horrible!!!. We ordered a pork milanesa torta to go, and we were looking forward to it, but God it was terrible!!! Not only was it not made in a proper bolillo roll, but they used a sweet roll (gross!) THAT WAS BURNT!!!, and the pork milanesa tasted sour. Authentic Mexican? Absolutely not, Hilda’s tortilla factory has mediocre-at-best Tex Mex, if that.

Just finished dinner and there is nothing outstanding here. Extremely bland/tasteless Americanized Mexican food. You can purchase better at HEB.

Prices continue to creep up for food that’s pretty good in a town with very little competition for breakfast tacos. Service that feels like waiter training almost every time even though it is the same waitstaff.
