Great little place in historic Fredericksburg. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We had a coupon for free garlic knots at lunch. The knots were much heavier than expected, but they were hot and very yummy. They were served with a really delicious marinara sauce. My husband and I each ordered a calzone, and they were top-notch and again served with the marinara. (I seriously couldn’t get enough of their marinara sauce, and I’m not usually a marinara fan!) The cheese was gooey and wonderful, and the toppings were flavorful. It was almost more than we could eat! I would definitely eat here again.

Best in Texas. The people at the West End Pizza Co. are the best. I personally can’t a test to their food but my brother that is in hospice in Fredericksburg says it is like eating our moms cooking and she was a great cook. I have a meal delivered to him every week. They are so sweet. The owner himself delivers it sometimes making sure my brother gets just what he would wants. He has had everything from Lasagna to Tiramisu and has enjoyed them all. The Chocolate cake is better than moms he says. With me living 2000 miles away to be able to give him a taste of home is so wonderful. The West End Pizza Co. is more than just a Pizza place they are a family that cares!!!

Eh…. Service was ok. Pizza was mediocre at best. Ordered the meatballs appetizer for my wife and I thinking it would be a nice plate of meatballs. Instead it’s two meatballs for 6 bucks. Pretty dissapointing. If you like over priced pizza then this is your place but I feel domino’s is alot better and half the price.

The food is decent and I’m sure our dessert was store bought but this was the best service we received anywhere over our 3 day weekend. The waiter and bartender were welcoming and friendly. Every where else everyone makes no secret of how much they hate their jobs. Not here 🙂

Disappointing. Although there was one server for every two people, service was extremely slow. The pizza was disappointing. I expected better dough, but it tasted blah. My spouse ordered wings, and said the sauce was more ketchup than BBQ.

Service was terrible. We had to ask twice for a server to wait on our table after waiting for someone for 20+ minutes. Our appetizer came out before we had water or silverware. None of the wait staff was old enough to bring our drinks from the bar to our table, so they sat for 15 minutes. Salads came out after our pizza. Their menu advertised Mexican martinis. When I ordered one, the bartenders didn’t know how to make it. Once they looked it up, they charged me $10 for a drink they said they were perfecting the recipe on. If your recipe isn’t perfect, you certainly shouldn’t be charging $10.The food was average. Certainly not worth the bad service. After all that with several servers apologizing for the bad service, we were still charged 75 cents for our extra ranch. Maybe that’s just small town, country service, and I am just used to big city service.

Disappointed. The service was a bit slow, as there appeared to be only one waiter. That waiter was taking care of things like refilling the ice machine, while the bus staff and the hostess just talked to each other. The pizza toppings were not great (the Italian sausage was bland, and the cheese was not great) and the dough was almost raw in the middle. Not what I would expect from a place with such good ratings.
