Don’t waste your money eating at this restaurant! Food is just plain lousy – have given them several chances, just never gets much better. Homemade tortillas are like eating tires off your car – thick and soggy. Just plain nasty.
RainKing. Go for the cheap booze, not the food. Drinks are strong and reasonably priced but the food is horrible. Been several times and the food is consistently bad. They can even mess up the mac-n-cheese and chicken nuggets on the kids menu. Still trying to figure out how that’s even humanly possible. Lets be honest, there is not a lot of places to sit down and have a drink with friends in Friendswood. Probably the only thing keeping the doors open. Way to many good choices in the area to pick this place. Even the place right up the street with the bell is better. At least when you go there it’s the food is consistent and it doesn’t surprise you when you get a case of the cha-cha’s.
Margaritas and Taquitos… what more could you want?. The margaritas are second only to Escalantes in Houston! By far the best margaritas in the area, especially for the money. I always order the taquitos (from the appetizer menu) and it comes with a stellar house sauce (think spicy chipotle cream sauce) and it is delish! My family and I eat here so often, they recognize us, haha! I love this place; it’s fast, the service is good, and I can always count tasty food.
