Crazy Delicious and Creative Cupcakes. I had one of their mini-cupcakes that a co-worker brought in from a wedding party. It had caramel drizzled over the top, and a small pretzel stuck in the frosting. I was blown away over how amazing this thing was. It was the most delicious cupcake I’ve ever had. The frosting was not heavy, but was creamy and moist. The cake part was perfect. The salty caramel topping really added to my overall enjoyment. Who knew that a cupcake could kick so much arse?
AMAZING!!. The cupcakes are FAR FAR from dry as someone said, they are always wonderful, the frosting is to die for. They sit them on a plate and you have to use common sense to carry them to the table. I hold the cupcake and plate and go sit down. They always go through whats in each cupcake and are always very sweet and helpful. It is always bright and clean. They get local fresh milk, so if they dont have any in stock it can be an issue with the supplier, not always the cupcake places fault. They even allowed me to do a photo session there! Good stuff, great people!
Adorable place, awesome cupcakes
Meh. While the actual business is cute, the cupcakes are a bit dry and tend to stick heavily to the wrapper. At $3.50 each for a standard sized cupcake it needs to be pretty spectacular! I expect a higher price with a non-franchise small business like this but I would like to feel like I’m not getting totally ripped off. The cupcakes are placed on white plastic plates in wrappers( which slide easily) as I picked my plate up from the counter it slid off before I even knew what was happening and splattered on the floor. Did the employee who witnessed this apolagize for not warning me or even understandingly see what happened and replace the cupcake, no. I was charged an additional $3.50 for a new cupcake, and an already overpriced cupcake turned into a $7.00 one! We had also been in 4 days prior to this visit and been told they were out of the milk they sell and upon returning this day were told they were STILL out of it! 4 days is ample time to re-stock your beverages! I feel like this business is over priced and has poor customer service! It is awkward just being in there with these employees as they try to pretend they are not listening to your conversation, as no one else is around and its silent in there. I will not return to this establishment!
Went for the first time as an after school treat for my kids. What a treat. The decor is cute and trendy and the cupcake were amazing. They offer milk from a local dairy to accompany their cupcakes making it a perfect after school treat
Tried it for the first time today and we love it. Everything has that fresh home made taste. The banana and lemon are amazing!
Good Addition to Friendswood. I just moved to the area, and was looking for good/unique places in Friendswood, and wasn’t finding much. When I came across Rise, though, I was so excited!! It may be a little pricey, but the cupcakes are good!!! For mardi gras, they made a King’s Cake cupcake, which was delicious. I’d definitely recommend stopping in and just giving it a try. Now if Friendswood would just have more coffee shops…
