  After our monthly visit to Dark Hour (GO THERE!), we picked up the kids and headed to Chilis by StonebriarOm: The place was not very busy late on a Saturday night, had to wait a minute until someone noticed us. Thats a trend Ive noticed with most restaurants, the less busy, the less consistent the service is. We were seated, our server was ok, not overly friendly, just there to do his job. Noms iced tea took an abnormally long time to come out from the time she asked for it, longer than my margarita chicken did from when I ordered it! I love Chilis chicken, its consistently moist and tasty! There seemed to be more beans on the plate than what I normally see from this dish, maybe it was just a bad perception. I love the margarita chicken, my favorite Chilis dish. Overall the food was consistent as other locations have been, but the service was a bit subpar. Hey, they didnt charge us for the kids chocolate milk though! Hey Beautiful Love, what did YOU think?Nom: There is a definite tradeoff between peak hours and service levels. I get walking in kinda late, but not near closing time and it being a little slow to be seated. but the level of service shouldnt make you feel like an afterthought either. It took a minute for a hostess to notice us when we arrived but once she did we were seated. But then we had to wait on our waiterto the point that with two adults and two kids we knew what we wanted to orderok so they were slow. And I had to wait on my sweet teaand our waiter didnt really ever check back with us to see if we needed anything, at least that I can recall. Lets talk food. Im not sure how they do it. If you order the margarita chicken you will pretty much get the same chicken as anyone else who has ordered this chicken. Its like a weird science. Maybe they have some sort of chicken press cookie cutter thingamajig back there that cranks out chicken breasts. Or maybe its grown in a labbottom line is I dont care, its really good and its totally consistent. You may get varying amounts of rice and beans but you can count on the chicken. Its like a freaky sure thing. I know my handsome love is enamored with this chicken, hes the one who got me to try it! Its a go to for us when we are watching what we eat! So, I went around with my favorite part of the mealwas it the chicken? Or was it when the check came they didnt charge us for 4 adult sized chocolate milks? UmmmmmmmI have to sayboth!!!
