We have been to this Greek restaurant several time and its been pretty good. Its on the south side of Gaylord Parkway, not in the warren of buildings on the north side of the road so its visible and pretty easy to find. The is good use of stone in the building and along with Greek art and artifacts gives a very nice regional feeling to the restaurant.Even though its was a busy Saturday we were immediately seated. The waiter was quick and helpful and we got out orders in quickly. Throughout the meal our waiter and other servers kept our glasses filled and made sure we were happy.Sharon’s moussakas was very pretty and had great flavor. She even commented on how good the potatoes were. (How often are roasted potatoes good enough to comment on?)I had a pita sandwich with Greek sausage, and fries with feta cheese and oregano. Honestly I didn’t enjoy the sausage much. The casing was a little hard to bite – good sausage should have some bite to the casing, but this was tough. And the sausage seemed tough to chew. The sandwich wasn’t horrible – it just didn’t suit me today. We both agreed that we enjoyed the meal and will definitely come back.
After seeing the reviews, went to the restaurant today with a group of friends at 8:30 pm. The place is open till 10 pm on Saturday’s, but the hostess/owner was really rude to us and said the place closes in 10 minutes and we got to hurry. Once we are seated the waiter starts repeatedly asking us to place order quickly and that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. So we start rushing it thinking they really close in 10 minutes. But after that we see other families come in after 30 minutes and still getting seated and food being ordered till 10 pm. Once we pay the bill and while wrapping up waiter swings by again and picks up the check in a hurry while we are still sitting there. On the way out I see the hostess bad mouthing & complaining about some other customers who were inside. Really??? I am surprised and shocked at this indecent behavior and never experienced something like this before. Food was ok, nothing to boast about but the attitude just unacceptable. Please avoid this place at all costs if you want to be treated right. While posting this review I noticed several other reviews about similar attitude that the hostess showed. Please beware!
I have been here several times and have always had great food and great service. Thumbs up on the dcor as well. My family loves the Saganaki and Tzatziki. I tend to stick with the Gyro for lunch and the Chicken Souvlaki at dinner. It is just so good. It was also very nice for them to let me order a gyro for takeout on a Saturday night when they don’t serve gyros. This is my top go to Greek place.
WONDERFUL! Some of the best authentic Greek food you can find! Everything on the menu is great. Also, can bringing in your own wine! EAT HERE
We’ve only been here once, but we love it. The staff is so friendly and helpful, wanting to share their love for the Greek food/culture. We sat outside since it was an early lunch and it’s quite nice at that time of day. I was already happy with the place just for the seating. We have a young son and like to sit outside to please him and the other diners. As it was our first time, our waiter Nicolas suggested what we should have. We had two pita sandwiches, a small Greek salad, some Greek fries and ended with some chocolate cake that was over the top good. I could barely walk out being so full. Nicolas said the place is typically very busy, so you should make reservations if you go for dinner and it might be too hot to sit outside at dinner time much of the summer. Can’t wait to go back.
This place is amazing. I have only gone here a few times, and each time was great! My picky daughter ordered the chicken tenders and fries and tore it up! I had the gyro. Let me say they have the best tzatziki sauce I have ever tasted! I will be back!
Favorite Greek Food in Collin County, Easily. My favorite greek eats! I’m obsessed with the Saganaki, stuffed aegean peppers, gyros, and lamb special (I think it’s on weekends?) I can go on and on about what a wonderful fine dining place this is for greek food, but I’ll just let y’all go try for yourselves. And BYOB. Enjoy. diningwithdeliajo.com
