Love love love. sweet servers, great bar service, AMAZING steak and a very involved management staff I went Friday night for valentines dinner and the place was PACKED, but you never would have been able to tell based on the speed of service.
This place needs help!!!!!. On Jan. 17, 2014, we called in advance to see if we needed reservations for 9 around 8:30 p.m.. We were in town for a convention at the Embassy Suites. We arrived, and were 1 of only 3 groups in the restaurant. Service was poor – with just one young lady trying to help us. I received the wrong steak – I ordered a bone-in Rib-eye, what I got was a a sirloin steak (no bone.) It was also tough, but since it took so long to get our food – I ate it. My wife had to get up and find someone to bring us more water and tea. I realize it was late, but if they didn’t want to serve us and close early – they should have told us so and we would have gone elsewhere. Our group was from Longview, Ft. Worth, Kansas City, Dallas and Kilgore. We had all eaten at Texas Land & Cattle restaurants before and had good experiences. But this restaurant experience was poor to say the least. With 9 people with drinks and food – we dropped at least $350 that night. But not again – not there.

Used to be good. But service and food were terrible. Took a fun evening and made it a nightmare.
May be awhile before I return. Had lunch on Sat. (9/3) and was disappointed in the experience. The ribeye, which I know is more marbled than other cuts, was filled with gristle and extremely greasy. The wife’s grilled mahi mahi was overcooked and dry. The service was slightly below average…a real disappointment since they were not fully busy. However, the tortilla soup was excellent. Overall I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. Had a hunger for a good steak and it was not satisfied on this visit.
