Best crabs I’ve ever had. Ordered the garlic butter blue crabs and they were absolutely perfect. Takes a while to eat them but I could’ve stayed all day. Yowza!
I won’t give a total zero for this place because the family members who got seafood said that it was OK., not great but just OK. They need more choices for us non seafood lovers who are dragged to seafood restaurants by family. I had the hamburger. The meat is the tasteless dry frozen meat patties from SAMs Club. I tries my nieces fried chicken. It was very over fried and too dry to eat. The fries were ok. The key lime pie wasn’t very good either.
I just love Bennos on the beach! I have never had a bad meal. If you like seafood you can’t go wrong. It is kind of self serve nothing fancy but seafood done right. Especially the crabs. I look forward to the stone crab claws but they are elusive. Today I had garlic and butter blue crab. Delish!
Great Food!. Recommended by a friend, we headed to Beeno’s soon after arriving in town. We will recommend this restaurant to our friends also. During our first visit, we ordered the Hot & Spicy Crawfish – market price was $30 for 3 lbs. The crawfish were mixed in size, with all being larger than we ate in other restaurants later in the week. As I’m a northerner, I would rate them as hot. They were cooked in a seasoned pot, with additional spice sprinkled on the mounded platter. For me, the chili burn continued to build with each oh-so delicious bite. He likes hot food, and was delighted to have additional spice to sprinkle on the boiled potatoes and segments of corn. Cooked to perfection, we devoured it.When traveling in this area again, we would return.
Waited 15 years to go to bennies should’ve never gone back. Paid 75 dollars waited an hour it was to the point when the food arived it was ice cold we were so hungry we ate it and now I can’t keep anything down and they weren’t going to do anything about the cold food when we first brought it up bad service
Not impressed. Very unorganized and slow !!!
Food and service.. The spices were good great. The service sucked. Not friendly at all. Both ladies at the counter no friendly. Had to ask for butter with the shrimp boil. She was rude. Took forever to get a second drink. It is kind of like we got your money now go on. The Hispanic lady told a guy to hurry up it was to heavy to a customer. All it was was a 3lb platter. Customer should be first.
