Never Again!. My wallet and my feet are taking a hike as far away as we can get from Michael Burger’s!Overpriced, unfriendly service and a pale brown gelatinous substance masquerading as mystery meat (?) make me take this restaurant completely off of my local fare list.I live here and accompanied an out of town visitor who wanted to re-visit one of her old favorites. She tried to be excited and happy to be back at one of her favorite old haunts, but finally signed, put down her burger and said, I just cannot eat whatever this is. What a sad commentary. I too felt the same way and I will never be back, nor will I ever give in to another visitors wish to visit this establishment.
We ate at Cafe Michael burger just a few days ago. Let me warn you….VERY EXPENSIVE for a frozen patty. Staff was rude and female OWNERwanted to charge us .59 cents for a few jalapeno slices EVEN THOUGH we had asked for our burgers dry. saving them the lettuce, tomato and onion. Patrons be CAUTIOUS because they have coolers in the front that drain onto restaurant floor making it slippery. Lawsuit WAITING to happen! Plastic furniture and plastic table cloths. Fine dining PRICES with fast food decor and meat! SAD for the island! This owner is OBVIOUSLY not from TEXAS! Don’t waste your hard earned money or time. The island has MORE to offer than this place!
