Chips were a little stale, queso was good but thin and thus hard to scoop on a chip, likewise with the salsa. But the enchiladas poblanas and suizas were OUTSTANDING! We’ll definitely be back anytime we hit the island.
Really good. El Gusto has great breakfast and delicious enchiladas. Never had a bad meal here. And the owners and wait staff are super nice. Lots of regulars here, too, which is always a good sign. There are a lot of choices for good Mexican food on the Island, but this needs to be on your list.
Ordered a breakfast burrito. They serve breakfast all day! The homemade tortilla was awesome. I ordered the beans, eggs, potatoes, and cheese. It Was huge for the price. It came with salsa on the side. I could’ve used some cilantro and onion or some more Flavor on the burrito. The Salsa was a little too much but the burrito tasted like it needed something without it. Good place though. I recommend.
I recommend the breakfast. My father has eaten migas here every single Friday for almost as long as I can remember. The dinner is also good, but it’s the eggs with their salsa that really stands out in my mind.
Had very good enchilada plate. Lots of locals eating there, which I always like to see. Also, don’t miss the wall mural of The Virgin of Guadeloupe hugging Pope John Paul in the parking lot. Give it a try.
