Very difficult to give a restaurant the perfect score.Thid place deserves it.Mind blowing sea food.Fresh,tasty.Lovely ambience,courteous staff.If you are at Galveston or SFO do visit this plac.A bit expensive but definitely worth the money.Ordered shrimp salad,crab stuffed tilapia,chickn Elissa and burger.All cooked to perfection.do try the above dishes.You will leave the restaurant with a happy feeling.Very courteous staff.Expect some waiting time during peak hours.
Food is what I judge. I had a seafood platter. The food was poor quality overall. Fried shrimp and oysters were OK but not very much of it. Stuffed shrimp and Crab Cakes were probably frozen out of a box. Certainly not fresh. Fish was not as good as the fish I ate one day at the Valero station deli. Small portions for $26 over a bed of French Fries to make it seem more substantial. My wife had a shrimp plate with the same result. I would never recommend or return to this restaurant. The atmosphere was top quality, staff was courteous but service was just as poor as the meal. Had to ask 3 times for more tarter sauce before we got some. Quick to order and bring the check, in between was a zero.
This is a good place for a nice dinner or an expensive lunch. The patio is right over the water so it pretty cool to be able to watch the ships. I have the stuffed flounder and it was delicious. We also tried the shrimp kisses and they were great as well. Good wine and drink list. Overall a good place to eat out for a special occasion or vacation. It is pricey.
I had a phenomenal dinner here tonight. We ate outside over the water looking onto the huge sailboat, a beautiful setting.Everything we ordered was very tasty, and cooked to perfection. We started with oysters, big and fresh as well as calamari. The fisherman’s platter with crab cakes, buttery tilapia, scallops, and shrimp with grilled veg and rice pilaf was outstanding on all fronts. I’m not sure I can pick a favorite, everything was so delicious.We finished with a tasty key lime pie. Our server was quick and attentive and everything came ina timely manner. Overall our experience was excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and excellent service. We arrived and were greeted by the friendliest staff. Our waitress merely overheard the mention of a shrimp allergy and assurred me that it would be no problem for them and for me not to worry. After our order had been placed, the manager stopped by to tell me the chef was aware of the allergy and to enjoy our food. Oh an by the way, our food was amazing. So fresh! This might not sound like a big deal, but most places just warn you at the bottom of the menu and your on your own. Fishermans Wharf, great experience.
Love the place. Every time we come to the island we eat here. Love the atmosphere the views and the food. Although it seems as if the Shrimp Kisses have shrunk :(.
