Wedge salad was best part of meal. They tried to serve the redfish before we were halfway through the salad. The redfish was skin and scales on. Made it through half the fish before I gave up. Scales in the meat was nasty. And there was funny background flavor that I never did figure out. I will not be returning.

Totally Overrated! Absolutely Overpriced! We visited for the first time on Saturday night on Memorial Day Weekend when visiting Galveston. It was recommended by the hotel and we thought if it has been there since 1911, it must be doing something right. We had a reservation so we were seated promptly and received our glasses of water promptly. But that is when things shifted into slow-mo! Our waiter visited our table and told us about the menue but 45 minutes later the oil lamp on our table was still off and no bread was on our table. I had to stick my neck out for 10 minutes to finally get attention of our waiter to remind him of these deficiencies. He acknowledged that he forgot about the bread but blamed the busboy for the light. He took the orders. My daughter ordered Red Snapper with parmesean chease tomatoe side and I ordered Mahi Mahi with asparagus side. We both ordered crab topping. I also ordered a glass of Russian River Emeritus wine ($15!). My daughter liked her Red Snapper very much. We both liked our crab toppings. The asparagus was right on the money. But……..the Mahi Mahi was hideous. Truthfully the worst Mahi Mahi I had ever had in my life. It wasn’t that it was not delicious or even tasteless, it really teally tasted bad. It was breaded. It was flattened. It had no flake. Oh! It was just terrible. We also shared a Brownie with icecream topping. It was delicious. Total $135.32 + 18.75 (15% tip) = $154.07 Subpar. Overpriced. I appreciated that the check came with a survey and I told them like it was.

The place was nearly empty upon arrival, waited forever before a server came to greet us at our table. My salad was horrible and my entree was flavorless, the noodles hadn’t been strained well and the watery flavor was overwhelming. Our waiter was awkward and food flew out of his braces when he was informing us of their specials. Over all it was definitely not worth the $75 we spent.

Brittni was an amazing waitress. We had a large group and they got us in right away. The food was incredible. I had the blacked shrimp it was the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Most of the food was good. Red snapper, seafood combo, Mac and cheese and crab cake, were great. One of us at the table ordered a stuff shrimp dinner that tasted like sour/bad shrimp. There was plenty of other food at the table to accommodate him so we didn’t bother with the awkwardness of sending it back. Service wasn’t great for us but wasn’t a deal breaker.

Food was fantastic for all four of us. Service was a little slower than I expected. But the wait was worth it. Great atmosphere and food cooked perfect

Was absolutely terrible. When asked about prices on fish of the day was lied too and was $30 more than was expecting, ask for the swordfish to be blackened with blacken seasoning and was completely bland. Ordered a stuff crab and was disgusted after one bite, was fishy and slimy. I work at a seafood restaurant in the gulf and was expecting a little bit more. Ended up leaving very up on what I was charged and quality of the food. Go to the pizza place instead it was amazing at papas.
