Service was great. The gumbo portions huge. The PO-boy was excellent. Good family atmosphere, I would recommend it. The vaginal oyster on the wall was interesting but my 13 year old boy was clueless about it.
For a place that is based on gumbo and that’s their main dish it’s not very good. My girlfriend got the gumbo and barely ate it and I tried it and was disappointed as well. I ordered the touffe which was pretty good. It was very thick and I had to add a lot of hot sauce to it to add enough…
Amazing little restaurant! They have a great selections of all beers & super wait staff! It was our anniversary today & we even got a special poem recited from our chef! The girls there are very friendly & the gumbo was amazeballs!
Hope it’s as good as last time. My wife and i will eat there this week end. haven’t been there in a year, was always very good gumbo, disappointed to see all the negative reviews. we’ll make our own decision this week end, it’s been so good in past years we’ve actually eaten there twice in one week end. we shall see!
Worst service ever! Brought everyone’s food out and I was forced to wait 20 minutes for a bowl of gumbo! The food wasn’t even that great! Save your time and money!!!
