Went here with our [former] neighbors on a double date. The staff, from the hostess to the servers, were rude and slow. The food came out cold, was disgusting, was way too expensive, and made all four of us sick. DO NOT EAT HERE.

While our waiter was very good, the quality of the food was less than average. There are far better places to eat and spend my money. I will not be back.

Disgusting, I never expect Chinese food to be top quality. But this place had the worst chicken and egg rolls I’ve ever had. Rice was the only thing that was good. Go next door to the buffet.

One of our Favorites!. The Happy Buddah in our area closed a few years ago, so we go here every time we are in Galveston. We have even made the 2 hour drive on more than one occasion, just to vest lunch here. The lunch specials are defiantly the best deal. We always stick with the sweet and sour chicken or pork. The ribs, fried wontons, and wonton soup are also favorites.

Don’t even bother. There is absolutely nowhere in Galveston to eat good Chinese food, including Happy Buddha. Overpriced. The food is just a bland recreation of every other bland Chinese place I’ve eaten at. There is nothing that stands out about this place. Drive up to Houston if you are really in the mood for good Chinese.

Pineapple Pork. Fresh pineapple and a delicious pork, garlic gravy bring this dish together. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve ordered it over 500 times. Cost is around $9.The 15 weekday lunch specials ($6.95) are very large portions, everything from fried shrimp to Gen Tso chicken. They also have a nice bar with a couple TV’s if your looking for ‘the game’.Love this place…
