BEST EVER. Home Cut Donuts have the absolute best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. Live on the Island now…plan on coming back to Home Cut even once I move closer to Houston. That’s how good they are.
What a treat to have fresh warm kolaches from the oven. The doughnuts were light and yummy. The service was great as well as the prices.
I passed by other donut places to try these after such a high review. I guess I was hoping for something comparable to Krispy kream. Service was fine and the donuts tasted like typical donuts from Shirley’s or any other mom and pop donut shop. Not bad but nothing exceptional. The one that did stand out from our mixed dozen was the white iced cream filled glazed. That was above most other donut shops interpretation of that style of donut.
Locals Love It. This is hands down the coolest little spot to stop in for donuts anywhere. The low counters are always full of locals talking about everything from who caught what out on the pier that night to what they know about the guys running for office. The donuts are always hot and fresh, the coffee is never stale. We just love this place.
Got it right!. I really like this place. They got kolache’ making down just right! It’s the right amount of bread with the sausage and during the holidays they serve a pumpkin spice doughnut that is insanely delicious!
