Opens at 8:00 am on Sunday. This was one of the best Mexican breakfasts I have ever had! You cannot eat out for Mexican breakfast in Louisiana (that I know of) except for IHOP on occasion. This place is not a chain. It is located on a street that probably was a small industrial district. I had eggs with cheese, serrano peppers, added chorizo, great refried beans, fried cottage potatoes, corn tortillas. Wife had huevos ranchero with bacon. It was all great, staff was very friendly, all three of them. Place filled up quickly. Clean restrooms, nice typical dcor. We definitely will be going back. Note: Don’t expect fast food chain speed. These folks care about what they serve and it’s not really slow!
WOW!. Found this place on accident going the back way somewhere else and it looked festive so we tried it. I am so glad we did. Amazing homemade salsas and sauces. Old fashioned queso and guacamole. Had enchiladas verde with cheese, which is virtually unheard of and tasted delicious. Refried beans were superb. Open everyday 7 a.m. – 2:30 but you should make the effort to get there. Well worth your time if you like homemade food.
