Overpriced-Underserved. Service left a lot to be desired, no choice offered on salad dressing and the honey mustard balsamic is not EVERYBODY’S favorite. No bread offered as is the case with other Landry’s.Portions smaller and prices higher. We won’t be back.
Nice place. Happy hour, outside, sunset. Doesn’t get much better.26 May, 2013Pretty good seafood. Sometimes a bit stale but predictable. Very good soft shell crab.
The worst landrys! The manager does not know what he is doing. The service was extremely slow. The food was terrible. It had to be microwaveable dinners. Our plates were hot but our food was cold. One waiter spilled our daughters food, picked it up with her hands and served it to our daughter. The manager did not remove the kids item from the receipt after he said he would. My husband had to go and find someone to ring us up. We will never return. We are so sad because landry’s use to be a great place.
Make wait staff needs to know cuts of meat. My wife was served a lesser cut of meat. When questioned he explain why he should have taken the problem to the manager. TUESDAY JUST MAYBE THE DAY WHEN THEY ARE RUNNING SHORT ON MANY THINGS.
Disappointed calamari was chewy, fish and chips was better but the best of all was the banana foster.
Some of the best seafood I’ve had. Not only was my meal delicious, but the service was impressive. Our waiter, Lance, was lively and knowledgable. He knew his speech and knew answers to our questions. He could read body language very well and everything flowed nicely. I had the sirloin steak, baked potato, and lobster tail. A VERY expensive meal, but I am a little over 100 pounds and ate every bite. Nothing bad to say about the experience.
Great Food. This is the only Landry’s I’ve tried and so far, the food has been great. I’ve tried something different each time and it’s always been really good, just really over priced. On my last visit, we had horrible service, which seems to be a theme in Galveston. Our waiter’s shift ended half way through our meal, so he just left. I thought it was very unprofessional and his replacement was rather rude.
