Good Cajun style smoked meats and authentic Boudain, Tasso and Smocked Hocks for sale in the deli case.
Love this place! The owner gave us a sample of just about everthing, and it was all amazing! Best gumbo on the island, and the ettouffee is just like my grandmother used to make! This is real cajun food at an amazing price!
Bad food/ Not real Cajun. Well I guess this restaurant would NOT be the one that I would go back to again. Blond haired person at the counter had bad attitude and didn’t smile one time. This place had greasy sausage, greasy riblets, soggy rice, watery gumbo. Crackers tasted like they were old from last year. My Husband spit the crackers and gumbo out-BAD!!! People from LA would not consider this real Cajun food. never refer anyone here!! Touche!!
Excellent food. This place is probably the most under estimated restaurant on Galveston Island. The pork chop was tender and perfectly smoked, the seafood gumbo was delicious. Try it!
Clean restaurant. Good Cajun dishes.
Pleasantly Surprised. I was kind of skeptical of Leo’s when we walked in, but it turned out to be delicious. The crawfish etoufee was outstanding, with tons of crawfish tails and a great flavor. The small bowl which is less than $4! was plenty of food. Their brisket was also good. My husband is a BBQ fan, and he said the brisket was the best he’s every had. The sides with the brisket plate weren’t that great, but he said the brisket made up for it. We’ll definitely be back.
