Skip the scampi! It’s overpriced. The shrimp tasted like it had been boiled before they threw it in the garlic butter sauce. That was only negative. The pizza is really tasty. My girls didn’t leave much on their plates. The chocolate cake is pretty good too. Had top notch service during our visit. Will definitely eat here again.
I was not wowed by the pizza. It was ok. People say it’s the best on the island. That might be so but, it was average pizza.

Super fast delivery, I was told it would be at least 45 minutes and my pizza arrived after about 30. I ordered the Hawaiin and it looked fantastic- no skimping on the toppings. The flavor just wasn’t there though, I’m a bit of a pizza fanatic and really not that hard to please- but the crust was blah, the sause was blah, and overall just a blah pizza.
Hand Tossed Pizza!. I still love watching the pizza dough fly into the air at Mario’s, just as I did as a kid when Giovanni Smecca was the coolest pizza man ever! The buffet is awesome, and the entire Smecca family makes you feel at home.
Best Italian On The Island. I completely scarfed down mine, and everyone elses food at the table. That is my only memory of this place… I recall it was rather good though.
Visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. Wait staff seemed to be fighting about who had what area. Took forever to get drinks, husbands martini was undrinkable. Took another year to get appetizers. Entered came fairly quickly, but drink refills again took forever. We had to get up and go to the cash register so that somebody could go find the waitress and get the check. And then? Automatic $14 gratuity. Never again.
