We stopped by today for lunch after having breakfast here last weekend. I agree with the other reviews, the breakfast burritos are huge and required a to go box (when it became lunch). Both today and last visit, they have a large client base, and 90% of the tables are filled. The waitstaff frequently checks up to top off your coffee or tea.. The food today was hot and fresh, and delicious. Both times we have been impressed, and left with full stomachs, and left overs for later snack.
One thing Galveston isn’t short of is good Mexican. The tortillas are made in house fresh and are big and delicious. I had a sausage breakfast burrito which was huge and good, but they put a lot of beans in it which overpowers everything else. I did notice it wasn’t on the customer favorite board so I plan on going back and trying lunch one day. They are only open tell 2 and the entire place was full, people are constantly waiting for a table. The service was good for being a packed house and the prices were good for the size of the plates. It did seem most the people were eating lunch so I plan on going back one day to try that part of the menu out.
