Great little hole in the wall bar. Bartenders are great and always remember everyone who comes. They serve great sandwiches almost all night and have a decent selection in drinks. When I have friends in town we usually always start out here and have a drink before we see what craziness is going on on the strand.
Pool hall, not Pub. After reading reviews, we walked on very sore feet from The Tremont Hotel looking for a decent sandwich and some imported beer. The reviews suggested that we’d encounter something like an Irish pub. We opened the door, found one patron at the bar, and a couple playing pool in a thick cloud of cigarette smoke. The place was dark and dingy, and yellowed by smoke from days long gone. It may be fit for drinking, smoking and playing pool, but not for eating.
