We have gone here a couple times for lunch and haven’t been disappointed yet. Great location on seawall and decent priced. I’ve never done the buffet but I’m strong believer you get what you pay for and the buffet isn’t top quality from the looks. The philly and chicken parm sandwiches are good, and the fajita pizza is also good. The only thing I found that I really enjoyed was the app sampler, it was great. Other than the bruschetta that tastes like it’s dipped in olive oil. Overall just another pizza joint on the island, in a place with so many cuisines and places to eat you need to distinguish yourself, this place doesn’t.

Deep dish delight. My family vacationed at Galveston over New Year’s. For NYE, we ordered three (almost) identical pizzas from three different places. This one was my husband’s favorite. Thick, chewy crust was the highlight. Mushrooms were fresh, not canned. Staff was friendly, and food was ready at the time we asked to pick it up. And we received a discount for ordering online. A native of Buffalo, my husband also ordered a few wings and said they tasted just like La Nova. Celery, carrots and bleu cheese cost a little extra but was worth it.

Family Favorite, restored after Ike!. I’ve been coming to Papa’s since the early 2000’s and they’ve been consistently fantastic in quality, price and service. I love their pizza, and most of the other items on their menu are pretty darn good as well. They deliver pretty much anywhere on the island, and it’s usually very timely. They were closed for a short period after Ike but opened up quickly after – I was originally really worried they were going to stay closed!

This restaurant has definitely gone downhill. I took my two girls Saturday night. They each ordered a slice of pizza, and i ordered the Italian sub. After twenty minutes, they called my number and gave me one slice of overcooked pizza. I said that we had ordered more than that, and the guy said he would call when the rest was ready, then he just walked away. While waiting for the rest, the girls shared the one slice and commented that it was burned. 35 minutes later, they called my number again and gave me the sub i ordered, but not the second slice of pizza. After waiting another 10 minutes, and still no pizza, we left. Who treats people that way and still has a business? Their service and attitude was despicable, and needless to say, we will never be back.

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. I have only ordered delivery from this restaurant before. Their pizza calzones and sandwiches are all fabulous, And their pasta is good but very generic. The delivery service though absolutely sucks. We always have to wait over an hour for food to come, And they always mess up the order in someway. One time my pasta container was crushed, and was all over the Inside of the paper bag. If you’re going to eat from this place, dine-in.

Ordered my food to go. It was not that busy when we first arrived. It took about 30 minutes for our food to come out. Typical pizzeria fare, pasta was okay. I wouldn’t get the chicken wings again.they were obviously frozen.
