We were skeptical about trying Mexican food in Galveston. We have amazing Mexican food back home. We were pleasantly surprised. Great hot sauce,sour cream enchiladas, fish tacos, and bacon shrimp. Good sangria and service. We will come back here next time we’re in town.
Fairly average Mexican restaurant. Certainly nothing negative about the experience and we may come back after exploring other local options. The enchilada platter was as good as we’ve had elsewhere.I don’t want this review to seem negative however. It is a big, open restaurant, with welcoming and cheerful staff and good food. I’d say that I’d come here again versus the over-hyped Original Mexican Cafe.
