Highest rated place within walking distance of our hotel. We showed up for an early dinner on a Friday and the place seemed to fill up quickly. Entrees were goodmy husband had a shrimp and oyster Poboy and was very pleased. I had the fried catfish plate and the fish was fresh and well-cooked. Hush puppies were doughy and lackluster, and my plain fries didnt taste too different from my husbands seasoned fries. Do yourself a favor and skip the crab balls. Youll be hard pressed to find any identifiable actual crab in them and ours were cold in the center, apparently a testament to how quickly they came out after we ordered them. Thank goodness we had entrees to redeem our eating experience because those crab balls just made me sad. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing.
