My husband and I eat here every time before a cruise out if Galveston. Food is wonderful, desserts are awesome (I’ve been known to eat cake for breakfast) and portions are very filling. Going again next Sunday!

Another great place for lunch. Most visitors will never go here unless a local shows them the location. They have a very extensive sandwich and dessert menu. All the sandwiches I’ve tried so far have been delicious! Decent price also, and can be very busy if you go during lunch.

My family comes here every time we are on the island. The staff is friendly and knowlagable, the food is good, and the apmosphere is nice. The tomatoer sandwich is AMAZING.

Not Great. I was not impressed with this place. Woman at the counter was on us asking for our order as soon as we had picked up the menu (there were 4 other diners in the place at the time, all with food on their tables already). We didn’t see much that was spectacular on the menu, and, having already eaten great breakfasts in other places in Galveston we opted for 2 coffees and a snack. The coffee was out of a gas station cappuccino-type machine, and was self-serve, and the fruit cup was in a small coffee cup on a platter. We were charged $8 for this. The coffee ($2 each) tasted like gas station coffee, and the fruit cup ($4) was literally a couple bites. We had to wait 10 minutes for the fruit cup to arrive at our table, even though it was already pre-prepared sitting in the glass case up front. No one in line behind us either. Our first impression there, but with so much other great food in Galveston to choose from I won’t be back.

Ummm umm ummm. Sometimes a local spot eating new things is definitely the way to go. This place is well worth the risk of trying something new. A cafe with charm. One, must try, is the French toast if your into breakfast. It’s just superb. Service is great and the food was even better. This place is a must try if you happen to visit Galveston.

Went there for breakfast & ended up walking out with a full belly & dessert in hand! I got the biscuits & gravy w/side of potatoes..the biscuits were fluffy & the gravy was sweet! They had just set out their desserts for later & everything looked amazing. I left with a triple chocolate brownie and a smile. The service was one that you felt like family when you walked they the door! Definitely will re-visit!!
