Lot of decent breakfast food options in large proportions. Seating is all first come first serve, but there’s a decent amount. They have fresh baked goods that vary day by day, but they all look amazing. Only reason for not giving a higher rating is the parking…there basically isn’t any dedicated parking. Other than that, highly recommend.
Well, when we showed up this morning, there were 3 Police cars and a Firetruck outside. So I told my wife, well, something has either gone terribly wrong here this morning or we are in the right spot because the Cops and Fire Dept eat here. Turns out the latter was correct. I had seen all the reviews about there being a long wait time after you placed your order. That may be true on busy mornings and weekends but we just didn’t have that experience. We walked in and were greeted with a smile and handed menus, told to sit wherever we liked and come back up to the counter when we had a chance to decide what we would like for breakfast. First of all, everything on the menu sounded amazing but we settled on Benni’s Breakfast Tostadas, Granny’s Breakfast and the Katastrophic (pictured). There wasn’t much breakfast conversation at the table this morning, just the occasional moan of delicious affirmation. Long story short, we had to dash out of there before we grabbed a couple of slices of cake, some scones and some coffee cake from the bakery counter. Believe the hype. This place is good groceries. Do yourself a favor and stop by next time you’re on the island.
food was delicious. came for breakfast. although it was a busy Saturday and I understand it may take a while, the service was a bit ridiculous. two of our plates came pretty quickly, the other two didn’t come for another 15 minutes. and when the plates did come out there was no apologies for the wait on the other food.
