Good price and good location. Nothing special about the food or margaritas. Never to busy and the bar is a good place to watch the game. I prefer salsa food and drinks better than here.
Ran right through me. Saturday night around 9 pm. Service was super slow. Very un professional. Didn’t greet us, never said his name. Didn’t ask if we wanted an appetizer. Had to flag him down after he tried to leave the 4th time to order queso. I got the mauhi mauhi. It was dry, bland, and very small. After we left, I had to stop at the gas station to use the restroom. Got home and have been 3 more times. Guess the fish was stored at improper temp. HORRIBLE
Food is only mediocre and certainly over priced for what you get. The margarita was less than satisfying. Service was ok. Given other choices on the island I would not come back here to spend my money.
Upbeat and Beautiful Beachfront Cantina. We loved the quick and courteous service in this wonderfully authentic eatery. This popular place was busy and still made room to accommodate our party of seven. Great food and a memorable experience. Thanks guys, for being a part of a fun vacation. Cheers.
Service was good. Salsa was pretty o.k. They don’t have Budweiser on happy hour but their house margaritas on happy hour were fine. Nothing fabulous , but definitely ok. Great view on the patio. Noise level was appropriate. Worth a shot!

Atmosphere is terrific, service so-so, food okay, drinks good. The Big Juan is an obnoxious mess – yes, we enjoyed it! More of a party place than an adventure in fine dining. Get a little rowdy and loosen up, you’re in Galveston!
