Food was great! Went to pay and they said they did not take credit cards, even though sign was on the door. Had to get money out of ATM. Cost 3.50 to get cash! We were not too happy about that. Website says cash or card also.

The burrito from the window early in the morning is the best in town! I love the salsa. Inside, my favorite is the enchiladas Suisse. Always good, morning, noon or night. You feel like you just took a trip across the border at McAllen.

Not a bad Mexican/Tex-Mex spot. Their tacos I had were all pretty good and some of the better ones I’ve had in town. The Taco de Puerco Rojo were exceptionally delicious and the Taco de Carne Guisada was pretty good too. I will definitely come back to try breakfast.

9:30 Saturday morning people stacked up at the window waiting for orders, so we go inside and and there’s a few tables with people (no food). We ordered coffee and salsa and chips, (no chips) we waited another 2 minutes for coffee then got up and left. We ended up at Dos Salsas which was excellent.

How is it possible?. The only thing I order here anymore is the tortilla soup. For the past four times in a row, they have not had any soup. They take my order(three of the four times I was with others), then come back a few minutes later and say they don’t have it. I don’t like the food here for the most part. I have tried many items and know where to find better examples. It feels like I’m trapped in that place. By myself I simply walk out, but with others that becomes difficult. People say the breakfast is good, I’ve never had it, I recommend ordering that or going somewhere else. There is nothing special about there meat or cheese that warrants making this place a destination. If you can get some soup out of them, it is one of the best tasting and flavorful tortilla soup’s I’ve ever had. I hope they value your patronage more than they do mine.

The enchiladas suizas were great and the service was very fast!
