Disappointment. Not authentic Italian food. Lasagna came out of a card board box.
If I wanted to eat in front of a TV, I could have stayed at home.. The food is good enough, but the Caesar Salad and Lobster Ravioli were overpriced, and the ambience of this otherwise fine dining establishment leaves much to be desired. Even when I asked the waiter to turn off the TV so we could hear the music playing in the background, he checked with the chef, then turned the TV away from us. Why the chef feels the need to distract his patrons with TVs when serving his dishes, I don’t know, but because of the presence of the TVs alone, it may be awhile before we find a reason to go back. After all, at least half of any dining experience is the ambience, of which the chef at Milano Trattoria is apparently unaware.
