Things That Make You Go MMMMMMMMMMMM!. Hello! I’m at Chapps again! What a surprise, huh? This place is just like the other Chapps Cafes I’ve reviewed. Their Angus beef is the best! Jalapeno cheeseburger. It was about a ten minute wait again. They put that nice char on the outside and it makes all the difference. The serving of fries is on the smallish size, but what I had was good. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Service was good. Seating consisted of tables and booths with a leaning toward a Western motif, plus, of course a few photographs of Nolan Ryan scattered here and there. Generally good burgers. But, the service is very, very slow. Lots of unhappy people waiting in line while one girl takes orders over the phone. Phone must be priority because girl will answer it midway while taking order from person in line. She would take the callers full order while the customer there waited. Saw this three times. Sad. We went on a Friday evening. Enjoy!
A Sunday Favorite. While there are numerous good local burger spots in this area, Chapps is the one to count on for a Sunday meal. Even if you happen to arrive at a slow time, the service is friendly and food is prepared to order. The burgers are made with very good beef and the condiments are fresh and applied properly (as opposed to the slapdash applications of ingredients at many places). Side orders also meet this standard. Access to the restaurant is a bit difficult but it is worth it.
Best burgers around. We love their burges, fries, and onion rings. I usually have the jalapeno and cheddar burger, which is to die for. Much better than some of the other hyped burger places in the area!
These burgers are like no other!! Soo good! Go there! Right now!
Burgers rock!. Burgers are awesome. I usually get the baby chapps because otherwise it’s too big for me to eat. 🙂
