Will Be back. My buddy has been bugging me to try this place for a few years. So Finally I gave it a whirl. Got the 5 taco for 3.49$ Not bad I must say. I will be in again to try something else
Don juans. It is a weird little place. but to say their rice and beans are deplorable and taco bell tacos are better? gee wiz. and weird sayings about food on the wall? I don’t think so. no sayings on the wall. it is small and Thursdays are packed. someone must like it. like much fast food the quality can be hit or miss, especially the beans. drinks are more expensive? maybe a bit but they are not watered down like many fast foods. the best fountain dr pepper anywhere can be obtained there. the food-I have been eating there for years. I keep going back so I must like it. love those little kiddie burritos basic beans and cheese on a flour tortilla. guac chalupa-again basic but good-gua on a flat shell with lettuce and cheese. my fav a bean and meat burrito with chili and chips. funny thing, I see the same employees and customers there. that is strange. they talk to me like they know me. lol. it is small and cramped. limited parking. I don’t think that building was built to accomadate so many people that are sometimes there. like any funky place some like it and some don’t. u must try for yourself to find out. cheers.
Overrated Landmark of Grand Prairie.come here for the novelty visit. its a weird little cracker box of a place that has hardly no where to sit and eat, inside.Their Rice and beans are deplorable, and their taco’s are no where near as good as Taco Bell. the only thing that is decent is the All Meat Burrito…)Finally someone has a Beef Burrito with just Cheese & Onions).Taco Thursdays is a joke. the whole town piles in to eat 5 crappy tacos (no sour cream or drink) for $3.50 .. Hmm… some deal. you can get 3 Good Tacos from Taco Bell W/ Sour Cream AND a large drink for $5. Oh yeah, speaking of drinks…. Don Juans has the most Expensive drinks in town ! sheesh. this place needs an overhaul. i forgot to mention they have stupid sayings about food posted on the wall.
If looking for value you’re likely not to find it here. As shown in the photo I posted of the Nachos supreme you can see that they’re rather chintzy at $5.50. In my opinion they’re over priced, I’ve had better nachos at Taco Bueno.
The food was not good at all, the place is not a place I would recommend to friends. I didn’t like it at all. There are better little Mexican places Grand Prairie or nearby Arlington. Disappointed.
Don Juan’s is hands down the best fast food Mexican. From the one man band to the combination plate. Everything about this place is romantic, and the food you can’t beat.
Bean Burrito. Best bean burrito in town for your $.
