Great little bakery!!. We got a variety of baked goods that were all great quality and delicious. Service from the owner was very warm and friendly.Their name is not shown on the big sign out by the road and only shows ‘bakery’ over their door so you have to know about this place or specifically be looking for it. We will definitely return!!!
The BEST Bakery EVER. Do NOT go if you are on a diet! The cinnamon rolls are to die for! HUGE, super fresh, soft and simply delicious. Your will power will melt into one of their soft, sweet, decadent, buttery rolls. You’ll be lucky to make it out the door without licking your fingers from not being able to wait to taste it. And the people there are so nice! Its a tiny, little place that is hard to find on the corner of NW Hwy & Dooley next to Bartleys BBQ. Definitely worth visiting! Go early and get them while they are still warm.
Great People; Not So Great Food. I tried Hometown Cookie Co & Bakery because of a Groupon deal I had purchased. The owner was so extremely nice, friendly and helpful. However that is the only piece of good news I have to offer about this place. I asked for an assortment of different items (cookies, cinnamon rolls, muffins, etc.) in order to meet the $20 Groupon value. Unfortunately, as much as I hate to say it, every single item I tried was not very good. The cookies were hard and dry. The cinnamon rolls, while great and huge in size, were not that great in flavor. As I said, the people are very nice! But I won’t be returning here for baked goods ever again.
Great little bakery. Great alternative to overpriced hotel food. We picked up breakfast there one morning-sausage rolls, apple fritter muffins, & cookies. Everything was very good and the owner was very friendly.
Unbelievable, Superior, Down Home. Hometown Bakery is adjacent to Bartley’s Bar-B-Que, owned by the same family. The variety of breakfast breads is staggering: kolaches, cinnamon rolls, fritters, jalapeno cheese bread, sausage rolls, breakfast sandwich rolls, sandwiches, brownies and more. Tables are available to let you relax if you like, and coffee is always fresh. Open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., except Sunday
