Good food, especially at dinner. While I was not impressed at all with the lunch (maybe the regular cook was off that day) the dinners at Bo Bo are consistently good. I’ve been to Bo Bo several times and much prefer the dinner to the lunch. On the last visit I sampled the Minced Pork with Green Bean, $8.95. It was very flavorful made with fresh green beans in a light sauce with a slightly salty taste. It was the second time I ordered the Ginger Beef and substituted chicken for beef, which is just a personal preference. This dish comes with slivers of ginger and carrots, plus onions in a light sauce for $9.95. On a previous occasion I chose the White Cucumber Pork, $8.95, which I was told is one of the more authentically Chinese selections.
Not many sit down Chinese restaurants left these days, but this one is really great! Can’t find sweet & sour pork? Well Bo Bo has it! Pan fried noodles, chicken fried rice are all great! However, fortune cookies were stale.
Best Chinese. This is the best Chinese food any where near the DFW airport. They have awesome sizzling rice soup, Mongolian beef and shrimp or chicken fried rice. It’s a sit down restaurant, not a buffet.
