Large location, but pretty empty. I’ve been twice and understand why. Drinks normally on tap were given to me in a can. Be prepared to see little bugs crawl across the bar. Mostly a clean place, minus the bugs. I know this is Texas and bugs are everywhere, but I do not expect to see a bug crawling on a bar top, exchange looks with the bartender to see if they seen it too, then have them turn away to go somewhere else while letting the bug go its own way.
Call in for New Year Day brunch. As usual the food was very good. But it took over 1 hour for our meal to come. Our waitress asked the manager to speak with us, the manager refused. Waitress – Veronica was nice. Must have been understaffed.
ok, this place is a complete joke. Don’t waste your money here. I have lived in grapevine my whole life. and i’m telling you this is the worst place you could go to. They market this place as a tavern and tap. (LOL) what a joke. I have never seen a tavern that cuts you off after 3 beers, and if you want to smoke have to walk 15ft from the vicinity of the building. My buddy was smoking a e-cig at the bar and the gm of the store ( who is such a tool. i cant remember his name but he is a tiny creepy guy with a pedifile mustache from Detroit you cant miss him) and this guy comes up to us and begins to lecture us on how rude we our for smoking a e-cig in the building… and after he left we tried to order another beer and the bartender said that he couldn’t serve us any more. so we told him to get the Gm back over, so we could find out why. and before we could say a word he started cursing at us and telling us to get out of his bar and never come back . and then he called the cops on us. when the cops came they had told us that this is not the first time that the manager has done this and that they are there every other night.
Food portions are small for the price and not very good . I had fish n chips fries were soggy – and I left hungry only getting three small pieces of fish ..service was borderline terrible – waitress was trying but was obviously lacking training . Had to ask for Drink menu ( in a bar – seriously ) which was on brown sack paper folded up in the waitress pocket – and they only left one drink menu for a table of 5 ..no one at my table enjoyed the food – we all texted after how disappointed we were … I would not return to this restaurant
Brick House Tavern, a waste of money. The half Caesar salad was so small, it took a magnifying glass to see it. The burger was tasteless and the tater tots tasted like they were left over from last year. All of this at a very high price. Don’t waste your money.
