One of the many places we stopped in Grapevine was Sues Chocolate, which moved locations sometime in the last few yearsOm: Not really a restaurant, bakery or candy store, Sues is a place to buy some chocolate. Not a large variety of chocolate, not a lot of different types, just straight up really high quality chocolate bark. They provide samples of everything they sell, amounting to about 15 different types of edible goodness. My Beautiful Nom purchased me a small box of the hazelnut coconut bark, which was one of my favorites while sampling just about every chocolate in the store! Sure its kind of expensive, but the blend of coconut to hazelnut to chocolate was right on I was expecting a strong coconut taste, but it was just in the background, with the chocolate still being the star of the treat. I would recommend a stop here to at least sample what they have! If you like chocolate, Im sure that you will find something that you would enjoy.Nom: If you like good quality chocolate and chocolate with fruit or nuts this is a delicious albeit pricy stop you must make. They moved to a larger space right on the downtown strip and it seems really well laid out. They dont carry everything you can imagine, they seem to focus on a couple dozen really delicious offerings that do not disappoint. Everything I tried was wonderful and made it hard to decide on what to get! They have samples of almost everything so you can try it before you buy it! You should definitely make this a stop of chocolate is your thing or youre looking to purchase something for a friend or loved one!
This isn’t everyday chocolate this is special occasion and gift level stuff. It’s sophisticated and tastes like you are being pampered. The packaging is beautiful for a woman or man. The people working the there are very knowledgeable about the product. Best part of all…they are happy to let you taste before you commit. Trust me though, you can’t go wrong. Heavenly and classy!!!
