This happens to be a favorite place of mine. Charlie is an outstanding host and is always genuine when he greets you. The quality of the sushi and its preparation are outstanding. Always a pleasing experience eating here.

We picked up our glass pumpkins from Vetro Glass so much fun making them a week ago and grabbed a bite to eat here for some food and entertainment!Om: This is only the third hibachi place that weve tried, and it turned out to be another winning experience! We chose this because it was a bit of a birthday celebration for one of the kids, and they really enjoy the hibachi show. We had reservations and were seated immediately. I had the filet with fried rice, and let me tell you, I dont know what hibachi places do to their steak or where they get it, but it always seems to be some of the most tender meat. As always, so happy to enjoy this with my Beautiful Nom!Service Met Expectations Good service, no mistakes made, everything delivered timely. The show was good, although I would say that the shows at the two other hibachi places that we have been to (Shogun, Nosoo) had slightly better presentations, where the chef did more entertaining throughout.Ambiance Met Expectations Large hibachi area, low light level, clean. Room for 7-8 around each presentation areaFood Met Expectations Hibachi food sure seems to be consistent across even different restaurants. Soup, salad, and veggies were good, fried rice was adequate (could have used a bit more salt), filet tenderand they even served us noodles where other hibachi places did not! And you get a lot of food, so come hungry!Value Exceed Expectations I mean, you are paying for quality meat, so for four people to eat (two adults, two kids) it was over $80. Looks expensive, but you get quality food and a show from the chef, so its a really good deal.Overall – If you have had hibachi before and enjoy the food and entertainment, Edohana will not disappoint. They even made the birthday boy feel special, with fried ice cream, a goofy hat, and singing! Come hungry and prepare to be entertained!Nom: I think the name is spectacularkind of like in Coming To America. McDowells? Get it? The name of this hibachi place reminded me of another place and that made me chuckle! Ok, so that aside it was not busy at all, and it was clean and the interior was quite nice. Heres the other thing that caught my attention and made me chucklethey had monkey brains on the specials boardnice! The wait staff was really attentive and the cook was entertaining. The boys always love a good hibachi show and they delivered. It was another birthday dinner for Will and they gave him a ridiculous hat and ice cream and sang and the boys loved that! The food was good, but I love hibachi fried riceI could eat that and skip everything else! I had the steak and it was really good, nice and tender but stillthe rice was the star of the show. Next time were in Grapevine that would be a good stop for a meal!

Charlie Rocks!. I have been going to Edohana forever and a day now, Charlie the owner/manager and staff treat my family like family. Not only is the service one step beyond the food is amazing…everytime! I usually get the temptation roll and the filet mignon and scallops…and never have I been dissapointed. I have been to the other sushi/hibachi locations in and around the area and they do not come even remotely close to level of hospitality and taste that edohana serves up daily.

Hands down my favorite spot ;). Friends introduced me to Edohana about 5 years ago and I’m still in love! Not only is the stay incredibly friendly and helpful, but the sushi/hibachi is top notch. The sushi chefs are creative and produce yummy rolls. It’s hard for my fiance and I to go anywhere else!

Habachi steak dipped in yellow sauce! With fried rice! You get so much food for your money. I also love the ginger dressing on the salad

The temptation roll may have been the best I’ve had. The chef was entertaining and the hibachi food was excellent, although the filet was in the small side. The atmosphere is nice too.

Good Sushi and friendly service. I went to Edohana with a group of business people. We arrived fairly late on a Monday night and were not sure we would be served. They greeted us with a smile and the smiles kept coming. The sushi was excellent, temptation roll, octopus and eel were my favorites. Some of the group had Hibachi and really like the meal. The Hibachi chef was great and adapted to our group and made the experience more enjoyable. Lots of food and good prices. I would recommend for great service and very good food with great prices!
