Very Good Huge Thumbs Up. El Taco is attached to Baja Grill. There is an open door way allowing people to pass back and forth. Even though they are attached, they have separate kitchens and ordering process. The order counter is kind of small, but the menu is placed high overhead to compensate. I tried three different tacos. All of them were fantastic. The mini taco’s come with two corn tortillas. The outside one has been slightly crisped. The inside one soaks up the juice. Together they make up a great flavor. All three of the meats have extra juice. It will run out and down your hand, so take care when eating. Fantastic tacos!
Clear Favorite. I’ve been here a half a dozen times over the years and Taco H has always been a favorite, although this is my first write-up A friend of mine recommended this place. I was not a fan when I saw it from the outside and even less of a fan from the inside. It has the bare essentials. Chairs and tables and bathrooms. Most people order takeout, but I always like to eat the food there as it is meant to be–hot. I had the original burrito (large, piggy size) with pork (al pastor) which is my favorite. They give you about five large pieces and fill the remainder with black beans, cilantro lime rice, cheese , tomatoes and onions. I even got the large size. They have a small salsa bar with lots of fresh goodies: jalapenos, pico de gallo etc.They have aguas frescas here, so of course I had the tamarind water. A large. They gave me one of those small plastic water pitchers–and a straw. I guess it was a 32 ounce size. And it was good.They have a small menu and everything is popular. Baja Grill has an adjoining restaurant like they used to have in Watauga until they decided to expand the Grill entirely. The other side of El Taco H is their hamburger endeavor–Peace Burger which I haven’t tried as of yet.
You know a place is great when doctors, executives, airport workers, and landscapers are all waiting in the same line. FANTASTIC food at an unbeatable price. And it’s authentic Mexican. You won’t find ground beef or other Americanized junk here. The fresh salsa bar is the tops; All the fixin’s you can imagine.
This place was a great find. The Al Pastor tacos are awesome. I highly recommend it.
OMG, this place has got the best tacos ever and you cant beat the price. I usually dont eat other places taco meat but this taco meat has awesome flavor.
Best place in grapevine. Tacos are cheap and the taco bar is loaded with goodies.
Excellent salsa and chips. Everyone else has covered the typical meal items (the carnita is exceptionally soft and flavorful!). I’ll add I could make a meal on the chips and salsa….. I could, but I don’t. I always have to have a couple of tacos. The red salsa is medium hot and the salsa verde is muy caliente. I like to mix the 2.
