my husband & I ate tonight at 5:30, our last visit was 5 months ago, we sat at the same table, seems where they use the new unskilled wait person. our waiter was much better than last visit. seems the quality has gone down and we get much better pizza at central Market for much less price. we ordered the pizza with meat balls, the pizza was barely warm, the meatballs were cold. we ate one piece and brought he rest home. our visit 5 mo. ago was so bad, we waited over 1 1/2 hr for our order. the pie just had very little sauce and was a disappointment, this was our last visit, there are too many other pizza places to get a quality product.
Nice, upscale, bistro-vibe. Feels like I should order Wine with my Pizza. We selected a Mediterranean Salad – which was large enough for 3 of us, and a large Don pizza, with includes Italian Sausage, Meatballs, and Pepperoni. All was really good, and while the prices initially look high, the portions are large. A large Don ($25) and Mediterranean Salad ($11) fed three and we had a slice of Pizza left to take home. I’ll definitely go back. diningoutdfw.com
Great food but not much of a selection. If you are wanting pizza and only pizza this is your place. There are no preset options, you make your own pizza. This is a great feature but every topping costs, there is no one topping or two topping options. setforthinstyle.com
Yum!!. Grimaldi’s keeps it simple and does it right! No crazy gourmet combinations or extras other than pizzas and salad. That’s all you need if it’s done right, like Grimaldi’s does. FINALLY, a pizza place in DFW that is worth a return trip!!Simple but nice atmosphere with a bar that opens up to the outside and an outside seating area for dining…………March 2016……just an update. Still love the pizza here but am a bit concerned about the sanitation here. One time we had someones leftover pizza beneath our pizza on the pizza pan which grossed us out for several months and we did not return. After we finally got that out of our head and returned, we found a to go cup lid in the bottom of our dish of sauce that was served with our calzone. Now we are a little hesitant to return once again.
Perfect. Crust, sauce, cheese, toppings….there’s nothing they could improve on. One of the best NY style pizzas I’ve had. The atmosphere and the service were great at this location.
This place is wonderful!!! Crust is just right, sauce tastes like fresh tomatos and the mozzarella is fresh!!
The atmosphere is beautiful. Love the wine bottle light fixtures. Had a glass of their house white wine which was surprisingly good. My friend and I both ordered personal pizzas. Mine came first and at least 5-10 mins later, hers came. I’m all about manners so I waited to eat mine until hers came. Hence, my pizza was cold as I was eating it. The ingredients seem to be of higher quality than other pizza restaurants. I was impressed with how good my pizza tasted even though it was cold. All in all, I would go back again. But they need to work on making sure table orders are brought around the same time. Manager/owner came by to make sure everything tasted good. Always nice to see someone checking on customers in a restaurant.
