It has been frustrating to watch this restaurant go from one of our family’s favorites to average at best. I have been a loyal customer for the last 5 years and it has been disappointing to see the menu changes and lack of quality food in the past year. There are too many small changes to list, but the changes to the Sundance fajitas are the worst. The Sundance fajitas were some of my favorite fajitas in DFW until management decided to change the way they are served. The new method of bringing a ladle of queso to the table and dumping it in a burning hot fajita pan creates a mix of burnt queso and grease. My attached picture shows this disgusting mix. Overall I have noticed decreased quality across the entire menu.
Really neat old Texas-style setting and divided into separate dining areas, this is a really cool place to take out-of-towners. Worth the slight premium for the flavors and atmosphere. The sauce on the Spanish Style Enchiladas was awesome. I didn’t order it this time, but I definitely will next time. diningoutdfw.com
Love this place I have eaten it three times in the last four days. Steak fajitas are awesome brisket tacos and guacamole are very good!!
This is our favorite steak house when we come down to Grapevine. Love the DD Fillet!
We had another great meal here: tapas tacos, table side guacamole, Trail Boss steak, fajitas, kid’s chicken and fries- everyone loved their meal. Great classic margaritas, and a delicious brownie sundae. Friendly quick service, fun atmosphere, we will keep coming back!

Overrated!. Okay, I tried this place again after an itiial disappointing experience 3 years ago. Way too much cheese on the menu. The combos all had some sort of cheese item. Yuck. Plus a glass of cheap wine (Lindemanns) was $8??!! There are much better Tex-Mex places nearby. Like Rio Mambo or Lupe’s.
